Presidents Message: Are you ready for the return of travel?
As national travel within Canada is expected to resume in July, it’s time to consider upgrading your skills set as a travel writer.
Our goal at BCATW is to provide quality instruction on travel writing to develop the skill sets required be successful in a vaccine passport world.
This September, we have scheduled a Travel Writing Basics course by Ruth Kozak and Travel Photography by Brian K. Smith in October.
Both courses will re-energize you as the travel industry re-opens and they will need journalist to get the message out.
For members only, a special destination marketing workshop with a popular south east Asian tourist country will be announced for September soon.
As a BCATW member, all education workshops are included in your membership. Membership applications and renewals will open in July.
We are also looking for qualified speakers for future webinars and related topics. If you have a suggestion, please contact me via email below.
