BCATW online education series begins this September with Ruth Kozak’s class “Travel Writing Basics.” Followed by Brian K Smith’s photography class on “A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words”… Fact or Fiction? in October. Plus, we have a member only special presentation scheduled with the Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board.
As for membership renewals, we encourage you all to support our association as we move forward into the new normal. As the travel industry re-opens, there will be a demand for journalist coverage and are focused on providing the skills to be a successful travel storyteller.

Membership Renewals
Membership renewals are now open online at BCATW.org. All annual renewals will be extended from 1 year to the end of 2022, register now and you will receive 16 months membership for the price of 1 year.
Members benefits include half price for all online education courses and exclusive industry session with Destination Marketing Organizations for story ideals.

With limited travel options, Edward Quan’s focus this summer has been on the local travel scene. In July, he was on assignment with the Porsche Club of America – Canada West Region magazine.
