Exploring Craft Breweries on The Far West Coast
There never seems to be enough hours in the day/week/months to explore all the craft breweries in B.C. In Early October Brian K. Smith headed off to Port Alberni, Ucluelet and Tofino to check out what the new craft breweries are pouring on Canada’s farthest west coast. Two new breweries – Dog Mountain Brewery and Ucluelet Brewery both opened just before the Covid -19 shut down. Now, all are open again, in what is the new reality of life in 2020. Along the way Brian met the brewer/owners of 4 breweries and one distillery. He also stayed on a converted mine sweeper/tug boat and jumped on a seaplane to get a birds eye view of the rugged Pacific coast. Halloween Scare: Shattered at The Beaumont
Travel writer Edward Quan has just launched his You Tube channel “Style Drama” with his first video story on a new Vancouver Halloween exhibition, Shattered at The Beaumont.
Equipped only with his iPhone, Edward first challenge was learning how to film his footsteps going up stairs without looking like he was drunk. The media event did serve wine, but he only had one glass. With more video learning ahead such as panning, editing and scripting voice overs, stay tuned for his updates in the months ahead.
