President’s Message:
Happy Fall
For many years, the BCATW has been a local professional association supporting our members within the travel industry.
We pride ourselves as an inclusive organization that welcomes travel journalist, photographers, videographers, digital media content creators, editors, and destination marketing organizations (DMOs) with a goal of developing our professional skills.
Benefits of membership:
- Educational webinars and professional development workshops
- Network with fellow members for career advice
- Promote your work with your BCATW profile
- BCATW Media badge
So, we invite you to renew your membership to develop your skills as the travel industry will resume soon and there will be a demand for travel storytellers.
If you have been a BCATW member since 2019, you can renew now at $72 and receive extended annual membership until end of 2022 plus all the benefits above.
If you have any membership questions, contact Edward Quan at edward@nullstyledrama.com
Also, BCATW Member and professional photographer Brain K Smith will be presenting an informative workshop on Tuesday, October 19th. Sign up at Meetup and we look forward to you joining us to learn more about travel photography and Brain’s adventures.
Regards, Edward Quan

What it’s like to travel during COVID-19
In July 2021, Bestway traveller John Herziger and a friend took part in a private, customized safari tour through the Southern African highlights of Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Having visited an impressive 179 countries, including embarking on a private, customized tour of Pakistan with Bestway earlier this year, John has seen much of the world.
Bestway touched base with John for his thoughts on what’s different with travel, and practical information on what travellers can expect during their next international tour.
